About The Position

Best Line Equipment is currently seeking an experienced compact and/or heavy equipment Field Service Technician to join the team at our Keyport, NJ facility. This role is for field service technicians who enjoy problem-solving, independence, and variety in their workday while having the support of an experienced service team behind them. Field Service technicians travel to job sites and customer locations to perform duties. Some on-call responsibilities may apply.

Requirements

• At least two years' experience in comparable markets (Troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing automotive, truck, construction, industrial, or agricultural equipment).
• Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills, and strong electrical, mechanical abilities.
• Ability to work with computers, schematics, repair manuals and warranty claims is an advantage.
• A high school diploma or equivalent industry experience will qualify.

Nice To Haves

• Beneficial experience would include DC electrical, hydraulic, combustion, and associated skill sets.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, service, inspect, and maintain all types of construction, landscape, heavy, aerial, industrial, agricultural, and fleet equipment.
• Travel to job sites and customer locations to perform duties.
