PIRTEK is expanding and is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician/Diesel Mechanic who takes pride in diagnosing equipment correctly, showing up every day, and providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for professionals—not parts changers. If you're an experienced diesel or heavy equipment mechanic who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and being trusted to take care of customers, we'd like to speak with you. This position is a great fit for technicians with experience working on: Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, Construction, Volvo Construction Equipment, Case, Hitachi, Bobcat, Kubota, JCB, Cummins, Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack, Equipment rental fleets, Municipal or utility fleets, Industrial maintenance. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, Equipment Mechanic, Field Service Technician, or Industrial Maintenance Technician
  • Strong hydraulic troubleshooting experience preferred
  • Excellent mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are essential

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose hydraulic and mechanical failures on heavy equipment and industrial machinery
  • Fabricate and replace hydraulic hose assemblies on-site
  • Perform accurate troubleshooting to identify root causes
  • Complete repairs safely and professionally
  • Provide outstanding customer service while managing your own service vehicle
