About The Position

Worldwide Machinery is a leading supplier of heavy earthmoving and pipeline equipment. We rent, sell and lease equipment solutions to qualified contractors across a diverse range of industries. As part of Diversified Rental Services, we bring more than 25 years of equipment experience and operate across 6 branch locations. Our customer base includes transportation, Oil & gas municipalities, renewable energy, mining, and civil contractors. The ideal Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of earthmoving and pipeline equipment at job sites, yard, and shop. Experience with Caterpillar, Joen Deer, Bell, etc. is preferred.

Requirements

• Valid CDL driver's license
• Experience servicing and repairing heavy construction equipment
• Working knowledge of T4 and T4F emission systems
• Experience with OEM parts look up and ordering systems
• Ability to work independently in field and shop environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Caterpillar, John Deere and OTR equipment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, emission, electrical and hydraulic issues
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance
• Use computer diagnostic tools for multiple manufactures
• Identify, research and order parts as needed
• Complete service reports, work orders, and required machine documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned by service or fleet managers
