About The Position

The Heavy Equipment Driver will be responsible for operating and driving vehicles to transport people, goods, and equipment. This role ensures that routes are planned, vehicles are inspected, and documentation is accurate. The position is part of the Operations Team, which is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of equipment and materials across sites. Requirements

Must possess valid driver's License.
Must be able to pass requirements for operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, and delivery trucks.
Must be able to lift 70lbs.
Successful completion of AIDT Training Program.
Working knowledge of Apriso/SAP.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office systems.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience with customer asset management with inventory skills.
Experience with a warehouse facility.
Ability to work unsupervised while multitasking to accomplish various jobs.

Responsibilities

Operating and driving vehicles to transport people, goods, and equipment.
Transporting materials, merchandise, and equipment onsite.
Inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues and performing preventative maintenance.
Planning optimal routes and adhering to schedules.
Documenting work/rest periods and miles driven.
Maintaining a valid Commercial Driver’s License appropriate to the vehicle type.
Fulfilling orders by pulling inventoried parts from a warehouse facility.
Complying with a Hazardous Material Load and Segregation chart.
