About The Position

JB Harris Transport LLC is seeking experienced, safety-focused Class A CDL Heavy Haul Drivers for immediate openings. They are hiring both Company Drivers and Owner Operators for regional and over-the-road routes, typically requiring 3–4 nights per week away from home. Drivers will transport specialized loads, including construction and industrial equipment, using various specialized trailers such as step deck, lowboy, and RGN. The company emphasizes safety, professionalism, and teamwork, offering opportunities for long-term career growth within a rapidly expanding transportation company. Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum age of 23 years old
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Minimum 24 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Strong safety record
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Operate step deck, lowboy, RGN, Landoll, and other specialized heavy haul trailers.
• Safely load, transport, and unload construction and industrial equipment.
• Properly secure loads using chains, binders, straps, and other approved securement devices.
• Interpret and comply with oversize/overweight permit requirements.
• Maintain Hours of Service compliance using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs).
• Follow all FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections.
• Provide professional customer service at job sites and customer locations.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
