About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a premier casino entertainment company in the United States. We are seeking a Heavy Duty Porter for the 3rd Shift to maintain cleanliness and uphold guest service standards across the property. This role involves detailed cleaning of various areas, operation of cleaning equipment, and ensuring a safe and professional environment for guests and team members.

Excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and operating skills.

High school diploma or certificate from Educational Institute.
One (1) year of experience in the cleaning field with equipment.

Responsibilities

Adhere to guest service requirements and established department and property policies.
Clean restrooms, mirrors, sinks, countertops, cigarette urns, and toilets.
Empty trash bins, pick up loose papers, sweep and mop floors.
Remove all trash to exterior trash points and clear snow for trash runs.
Replace toilet tissue and refill paper towel dispensers.
Clean and polish furniture, marble, brass, and entrance door plates.
Clean brass, lighting, walls, and carpeting.
Clean and dust lighting and lampshades.
Vacuum flooring, clean windows and ledges, clean team member restaurant floors, and sanitize all guest and team member areas.
Sweep, mop, buff, vacuum, dust, and wax floors.
Operate all types of cleaning equipment, including riding equipment like extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers, and overhead lifts.
Respond to reasonable guest requests or direct guests to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to standards and operating procedures outlined in the Belterra Park EVS Manual.
Maintain compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
Ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all proprietary information and guest information.
Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and self-image.
Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager or shift supervisor.
