About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an experienced Technician to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment in the safest and most effective way possible to avoid downtime. The fleet primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment. Specialty lines locations may have a fleet of large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related equipment. This position will be responsible for the repair of long-term down equipment in a shop environment and will be part of the central service team in Edmonton and the surrounding area. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
A valid Red Seal (Heavy Duty) is required.
Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills.
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills.
Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade.

Nice To Haves

Some trade school or equivalent training desired.
Previous mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
