Requirements

  • Communication skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, or industrial maintenance technician (crane-specific experience preferred).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with proven skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and welding/fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret service / parts manuals, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Valid CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work at heights, in varying weather conditions, and occasional overtime/weekend calls.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Factory technical training required.

Nice To Haves

  • Crane maintenance experience preferred
  • Prior knowledge of cranes, semi-trucks, trailers, and pickups.
  • EPIC/CCS, IC-1, LICCON, etc. Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing PM and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, booms, electrical systems (including troubleshooting onboard computer systems), hydraulic systems (booms, outriggers, pumps), brakes, and other basic components.
  • Must have the ability to work on hydraulic and conventional cranes, forklifts, tractor-trailers, and miscellaneous equipment.
  • Must work well and communicate effectively with operators and other mechanics.
  • Creative thinking skills to make continuous improvements.
  • Individuals will be expected to complete ProLift Specific, Regulatory and Identified Equipment training through our internal LMS system.
  • Individuals may be asked/required to complete 3rd party and customer required training to gain on-site access.
  • Other duties as assigned/requested.
