About The Position
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an experienced Technician to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment in the safest and most effective way possible to avoid downtime. This role focuses on large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related equipment. The company is experiencing double-digit growth and offers opportunities for internal promotion and career advancement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Red Seal (Heavy Duty) is required.
- Previous mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade.
Nice To Haves
- Some trade school or equivalent training desired.
