Requirements

Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification
Experience as a Heavy Duty Technician operating a service truck
Dedication to safety
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
Valid class 5 driver's license with a successful driver abstract
Team player
Ability to obtain customer site access (drug & alcohol, fitness testing, wear a respirator where applicable)
Successfully complete necessary training and other activities based on customer requirements
Become a member of the Union associated with this position

Nice To Haves

Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
Completion or be in the process of completing Finning S-level courses would also be considered an asset

Responsibilities

Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs
Interface with customers, products and sales support
Working with the supervisor on various tasks
Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
Various related duties as required
