About The Position

We have an immediate need to Hire A Repairs Leader to Partner with our GE VERNOVA Account Managers to grow the Transactional Repairs business for the Americas region while ensuring a world class Customer experience, in a highly competitive environment. The Repairs Sales Leader will interface also directly with customers and account management team(s) as the key point of contact for all transactional parts opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university / college (or GED/HS with an additional 5 years Power Generation Industry experience to qualify )
  • 5 yrs of experience in Power Generation services/ or Field Services/or Commercial Ops or Sales Gas and Steam Turbines contractual management.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Nice To Haves

  • Field Engineering or technical expertise in Gas & Steam Turbines expertise is preferred
  • Technical Sales & Service, Field service, shop operations, engineering, and/or marketing role
  • Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools (Salesforce, Quoiting Tools, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Understanding of customer financial drivers / needs
  • Customer-centric mindset driven to provide excellent Customer service.
  • Able to effectively energize a multi-functional team to meet sales plan
  • Team player who prioritizes team success, and willing to coach other team members

Responsibilities

  • Achieve Orders, Sales & CM targets and growing the business in assigned territory
  • Partner with Account & Sales Managers to maximize penetration of outages, delivering differentiated support for key accounts
  • Providing accurate, on time, comprehensive and competitive quotations for Gas & Steam component repairs, leveraging competitive intelligence and optimizing price & margins
  • Develop bid work scope after thorough review of Customer specifications and resolving any disconnects with GEV standard work scopes
  • Provide visibility to all repair opportunities to the Repairs Optimization team to secure slots and quote accurate cycles for component repairs
  • Execute proactive Repairs Sales campaigns
  • Share Customer feedback, competitive intelligence & lessons learned back to team members and business stakeholders
  • Ensure comprehensive handoffs of Orders to Repair shops, to ensure execution in accordance with contractual requirements
  • Be the focal point for the Customer to contact for any questions on Repair quotes, open orders and claims and drive resolution by collaborating with functional support team(s) as required
  • Drive satisfactory resolution of key Customer issues
