Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing truck problems and performing truck repairs.
  • Creating repair plans and filling out parts requisitions for needed parts.
  • Tagging all warranty parts that are replaced and turning in parts with core value.
  • Communicating updates to their Foreman daily.
  • Maintaining toolboxes organized and workstations clean and safe.
  • Performing oil changes (Apprentice Technician).
  • Performing brake inspections and working on brakes (Apprentice Technician).
  • Performing general maintenance of the service department including sweeping, cleaning and other maintenance tasks as needed (Apprentice Technician).
  • Performing basic chassis repairs (D-Level Technician).
  • Performing basic engine repairs (D-Level Technician).
  • Able to perform chassis Remove & Install (D-Level Technician).
  • Able to perform preventative and/or maintenance (D-Level Technician).
  • Competent in Internal/factory warranty processes (D-Level Technician).
  • Performing basic diagnostic skills (C-Level Technician).
  • Comfortable with major vendor/factory (C-Level Technician).
  • Can perform most chassis repairs (C-Level Technician).
  • Can perform engine accessory repairs (C-Level Technician).
  • Able to perform complete engine Remove & Install (C-Level Technician).
  • Performing advanced diagnostics skills (B-Level Technician).
  • Performing complete engine repairs (B-Level Technician).
  • Performing complex chassis repairs (B-Level Technician).
  • Knowledgeable on all vehicle component repairs (B-Level Technician).
  • Performing HVAC repairs (B-Level Technician).
  • Proficient on all vehicle component repairs (A-Level Technician).
  • Able to diagnose all vehicle component failures (A-Level Technician).
  • Competent in root cause failure analysis (A-Level Technician).
  • Performing vibration analysis (A-Level Technician).
  • Performing aftertreatment repairs (A-Level Technician).
  • Performing aftertreatment diagnostics (A-Level Technician).
