About The Position

Technicians are responsible for diagnosing truck problems and performing truck repairs. Technicians create repair plans and fill out parts requisitions for needed parts. They are also responsible for tagging all warranty parts that are replaced and for turning in parts with core value. Technicians must also communicate updates to their Foreman daily and must maintain toolboxes organized and workstations clean and safe.

Responsibilities

Diagnosing truck problems and performing truck repairs.
Creating repair plans and filling out parts requisitions for needed parts.
Tagging all warranty parts that are replaced and turning in parts with core value.
Communicating updates to their Foreman daily.
Maintaining toolboxes organized and workstations clean and safe.
Basic chassis repairs
Basic engine repairs
Able to perform chassis Remove & Install
Able to perform preventative and/or maintenance
Competent in Internal/factory warranty processes
Basic diagnostic skills
Comfortable with major vendor/factory
Can perform most chassis repairs
Can perform engine accessory repairs
Able to perform complete engine Remove & Install
Advanced diagnostics skills
Complete engine repairs
Complex chassis repairs
Knowledgeable on all vehicle component repairs
HVAC
Proficient on all vehicle component repairs
Able to diagnose all vehicle component failures
