Requirements

  • High school diploma or the equivalent is preferred.

  • Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose truck problems and perform truck repairs.
  • Create repair plans and fill out parts requisitions for needed parts.
  • Tag all warranty parts that are replaced and turn in parts with core value.
  • Communicate updates to Foreman daily.
  • Maintain toolboxes organized and workstations clean and safe.
  • Perform basic chassis repairs.
  • Perform basic engine repairs.
  • Perform chassis Remove & Install.
  • Perform preventative and/or maintenance.
  • Competent in Internal/factory warranty processes.
  • Perform basic diagnostic skills.
  • Perform major vendor/factory repairs.
  • Perform most chassis repairs.
  • Perform engine accessory repairs.
  • Perform complete engine Remove & Install.
  • Perform advanced diagnostics skills.
  • Perform complete engine repairs.
  • Perform complex chassis repairs.
  • Perform all vehicle component repairs.
  • Perform HVAC repairs.
  • Diagnose all vehicle component failures.
  • Competent in root cause failure analysis.
  • Perform vibration analysis.
  • Perform aftertreatment repairs.
  • Perform aftertreatment diagnostics.
