About The Position
Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining class 8 diesel engine vehicles.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Diesel Engine Mechanic.
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in diesel mechanics is preferred.
- CDL is a plus, not a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines.
- Repair/replace engine parts as needed.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire repairs.
- Repair and maintain critical components such as transmission, chassis, cab, axels, suspension, braking system, tires and wheels, fuel system, and electrical system.
- Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and safe to operate.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed.
