About The Position

Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining class 8 diesel engine vehicles.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Engine Mechanic.
  • Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in diesel mechanics is preferred.
  • CDL is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines.
  • Repair/replace engine parts as needed.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire repairs.
  • Repair and maintain critical components such as transmission, chassis, cab, axels, suspension, braking system, tires and wheels, fuel system, and electrical system.
  • Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and safe to operate.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed.
