About The Position

TCI LEASING AND RENTAL is hiring an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel equipment at customer locations. This role is fully field-based, allowing technicians to work independently while providing high-quality service. Qualified newly hired Technician Level 4 employees may be eligible for our Technician Level 4 Retention Program, which rewards experienced technicians for their performance and long-term commitment to TCI. Eligibility and program details will be provided during the hiring process and confirmed in the offer letter.

Requirements

• 4 to 6+ years Experience working with diesel engines and heavy equipment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently in a mobile/field environment
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
• Must meet insurability requirements
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated & Leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and equipment
• Respond to service calls and perform repairs at customer locations
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete service documentation and communicate repair updates
• Maintain tools, service vehicle, and a safe work environment
