About The Position
TCI RENTAL AND LEASING is looking for Diesel Mechanics with an expert touch and attention to detail. We are seeking Diesel Mechanics with 4+ years of experience for the Technician Level 4 role. This position will generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment at the direction of Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor. Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair clutches, PTO systems, electric systems, hydraulic/air brake systems, heating/air conditioning systems, instruments and gauges, and perform preventive maintenance service with little or no supervision. Technicians are measured on their efficiency to complete quality repairs in time standards.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- 6+ years Diesel Engine Repair
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Self-motivated & Leadership skills
- Must be available for On Call
Responsibilities
- Assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components of various truck and trailer equipment.
- Remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment.
- Diagnose and repair clutches, PTO systems, electric systems, hydraulic/air brake systems, heating/air conditioning systems, instruments and gauges.
- Perform preventive maintenance service.
- Complete quality repairs in time standards.
