About The Position
TCI RENTAL AND LEASING is seeking a Diesel Mechanic with an expert touch and attention to detail. This role, Technician III, involves assisting in the repair and diagnosis of major components or removing/replacing major components of various truck and trailer equipment under the direction of a Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor. Technicians are expected to diagnose and repair clutches, PTO systems, electric systems, hydraulic/air brake systems, heating/air conditioning systems, instruments and gauges, and perform preventive maintenance services with minimal supervision. Efficiency in completing quality repairs within time standards is a key performance metric.
Requirements
- 3 to 4+ years' Experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- 4 to 6+ years Diesel Engine Repair
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Self-motivated & Leadership skills
- Must be available for On Call Rotation
Responsibilities
- Assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components of various truck and trailer equipment.
- Remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment.
- Diagnose and repair clutches, PTO systems, electric systems, hydraulic/air brake systems, heating/air conditioning systems, instruments and gauges with little or no supervision.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance Service with little or no supervision.
- Complete quality repairs in time standards.
