About The Position
TCI RENTAL AND LEASING is seeking a Diesel Mechanic with an expert touch and attention to detail. This role is for a Technician III who will generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment at the direction of Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor. Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair clutches, PTO systems, electric systems, hydraulic/air brake systems, heating/air conditioning systems, instruments and gauges, and perform preventive maintenance service with little or no supervision. Technicians are measured on their efficiency to complete quality repairs in time standards.
Requirements
- 4 to 6+ years Diesel Engine Repair
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Self-motivated & Leadership skills

Responsibilities
- Assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components of various truck and trailer equipment.
- Remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment.
- Diagnose and repair clutches, PTO systems, electric systems, hydraulic/air brake systems, heating/air conditioning systems, instruments and gauges with little or no supervision.
- Perform preventive maintenance service.
- Be available for On Call Rotation.
