About The Position

The Heavy Duty Cleaner maintains a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with the procedures and policies set forth by the company. They clean and maintain the appearance of the casino’s back of house, public areas and restrooms to properly care for the facility and provide a fresh, clean environment for guests and employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
• Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment
• Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
• Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment

Nice To Haves

• Prior professional cleaning experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional appearance and demeanor throughout shift
• Follows all safety protocols and reports unsafe working conditions immediately
• Responsible for completing all assigned deep cleaning projects that preserve the overall appearance and maintenance of the property.
• Operate heavy duty equipment including but not limited to, carpet extractors, pressure washers, and auto scrubbers.
• Cleans all slot machines, in between machines, ash trays, slot bases, trash cans, restrooms, and offices, public areas, windows, restaurants, counter tops, furniture, and any other decorative objects in the casino, office, or common areas.
• Vacuums carpet, sweeps and mops tile floors, cleans any spills that occur.
• Clean any biohazardous materials when it occurs.
• Remove trash from the trash container and place it into dumpsters.
• Other duties as assigned.
