About The Position

TRC is seeking multiple Quality Assurance (QA) inspectors including Testing Technicians, Inspectors, and Lead Inspectors to support a project located between Nashville, TN and Murfreesboro, TN. The QA Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all construction work and materials comply with the Construction Documents, Project Standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. This role performs and/or oversees field inspections and testing activities, monitors ongoing construction to verify quality standards, and identifies and documents nonconforming work to ensure timely corrective action. Depending on level and experience, the QA Inspector may lead QA inspection and testing efforts, including supervising inspection and testing staff, coordinating QA/QC activities, and supporting implementation of the Construction Quality Management Plan (CQMP). Responsibilities also include verifying that all inspection, testing, and documentation processes are completed in accordance with project requirements and applicable TDOT and TDEC environmental standards. The QA Inspector reports to the Quality Manager or designated Lead and works closely with project teams to maintain compliance and quality throughout the construction lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Current TDOT materials certifications (or approved equivalents) relevant to assigned inspection and/or testing duties
  • OSHA-10 Hour certification
  • Experience in construction inspection and/or materials testing on transportation projects
  • Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, documentation, and compliance standards

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all construction work and materials comply with the Construction Documents, Project Standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
