About The Position

This role involves assembling heavy machinery and components. The Heavy Assembler / Machine Operator will be responsible for various assembly tasks, including mechanical fastening, blueprint reading, and potentially welding. The position requires operating specific machinery and adhering to safety protocols. Ascend Staffing, with over 50 years of experience, is seeking qualified individuals for this opportunity.

Requirements

• Mechanical fastening (bolts, nuts, hucks).
• Apply appropriate torque sequence and values (certified).
• Utilize hand tools to bend or form parts.
• Read blueprints.
• May tack weld.
• Operate overhead cranes (certified).
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Operate a Press brake, Drill, Saw, Plasma Table and Grinding.

• Involvement in safety committees or initiatives, as needed.
