Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc. is seeking a Heat Treat Operator/UTC Inspector for their steel mill operations. Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Prior steel mill or industrial furnace experience
- Tow motor and crane experience
- Remote Crane: 1 year (Required)
- Forklift: 1 year (Required)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Shift availability: Night Shift or Day Shift (Required)
Responsibilities
- Reviews traveler and other paperwork for Heat Treat requirements
- Consults Heat Treat Profile Management System to identify orders that may be heat treated together.
- Builds loads as required to maximize furnace fill.
- Operates rotary furnace controls to load/unload furnace as needed.
- Moves materials via tow motor or remove overhead crane.
