About The Position

Our Hauck Vision and Hearing - Red Deer - Village Mall - partners of solis optics clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your clinical expertise, people-first mindset, and passion for hearing health to our team as a Hearing Aid Practitioner. This position is a full-time role, working 30-40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Friday. You will play a critical role in supporting both new and existing patients throughout their hearing journey. As a Hearing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end patient process, including hearing assessments, counselling, hearing aid recommendations, fittings, and follow-up care. Your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on improving patients’ quality of life and helping them reconnect with the world around them. Requirements

  • RHAP designation is required
  • Experience providing hearing assessments, diagnostics, and hearing aid fittings
  • Strong counselling and communication skills with a genuine passion for patient care
  • Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively within a clinic team
  • Comfort using technology and clinic systems to manage patient records and processes
  • A professional, empathetic, and approachable manner
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

  • Supporting existing and new patients through their hearing journey by providing audiological assessments and hearing evaluations
  • Conducting patient diagnostics, including hearing tests and examinations, and recommending appropriate hearing aid solutions
  • Counselling and educating patients on their hearing loss, available technology, and care options to create an exceptional patient experience
  • Performing hearing aid fittings and managing related documentation, including Workers’ Compensation applications, D.V.A. reports, and medical reports
  • Providing ongoing follow-up care, including establishing and maintaining appropriate check-up schedules
  • Building strong relationships with patients to ensure continuity of care and appropriate post-care solutions
  • Staying current on hearing aid technology, promotions, fittings, and industry advancements to make meaningful, informed recommendations
  • Collaborating with clinic team members to support walk-in patients and inbound phone inquiries
  • Executing lead generation initiatives through community outreach, networking, and local business engagement
  • Ensuring repeat and referral business by delivering an outstanding experience for every patient
  • Following all Beltone policies, procedures, and pricing programs
