About The Position

As a Hearing Care Professional with HearCANADA, you are passionate about the hearing healthcare of our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for performing hearing evaluations, ensuring a high standard of client care, making product recommendations, ensuring product adoption through client education and training on features and maintenance, and collaborating closely with colleagues to address client concerns, maintain records, and participate in local events. This is a permanent, full-time role and typical hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm local time at our Sudbury clinic.

Requirements

  • A graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Specialist (or other provincial equivalent) or Audiology program
  • Unrestricted ability to practice in the Audiology field and registration with your provincial governing body in good standing
  • Working knowledge of hearing health care products and services with diagnostic/dispensing experience
  • An excellent communicator who can establish a professional and individualized rapport with clients and team members
  • Comfortability in making product and service recommendations to clients and providing patient-centric education to clients to ensure product adoption

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with WSA brands (Widex, Signia, and/or Rexton) would be a definite asset, though not required

  • Staying abreast of new trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technological advancements to make the most meaningful recommendations to clients
  • Building relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care is provided and post-care solutions are recommended
  • Collaborating with our clinic team members to support both walk-in clients and inbound phone calls
