Wabanaki Public Health & Wellness (WPHW) is seeking a Healthy Living Educator to promote culturally centered health and wellness initiatives that uplift Indigenous knowledge, traditions, and community strengths. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering programming that promotes healthy eating, active living, and commercial tobacco prevention in Wabanaki communities, specifically centered around the Mi’kmaq, Presque Isle Community. The educator will collaborate with Tribal staff, Elders, youth, community organizations, and health professionals to ensure programming is respectful, community-driven, and aligned with cultural values. The role is supervised by the Healthy Living Manager and is part of a team of four other educators.
