About The Position
Family Building Blocks in Salem, OR is seeking a full-time English/Spanish Bilingual Early Childhood Home Visitor to join our Healthy Families program. As a Healthy Families Home Visitor, you will partner with expectant and new parents to foster nurturing, healthy parent-child relationships and support positive child development. Using relationship-based and therapeutic home visiting practices, you will help strengthen family well-being, reduce stress, and build protective factors that promote long-term success. You will also connect families with community resources and services, empowering them to achieve their goals and meet their unique needs. This is an opportunity to create lasting, positive impact within the community by supporting families during some of the most important years of a child's life.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of demonstrated experience working with or providing services to children and families or working in parent education, home visiting, and/or child development setting
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Ability to pass drug screen and background check
- Oregon driver's license and acceptable driving record
