About The Position

Arch’s internship program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the insurance industry. It provides challenging learning experiences that serve as a foundation for interns to explore their career choices and to develop professional skills. Working alongside some of the most talented members of the specialty insurance industry, interns will gain relevant expertise in various aspects of the field, participate in learning activities and receive ongoing feedback.

Requirements

Actively completing area of study in Insurance & Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or relevant program.
Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
College level - current Junior or Senior student, with graduation dates ranging from December 2027 - May 2028.
Strong proficiency in understanding financial statements.
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Strong analytical skillset, with a keen ability to think through issues.
Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner.
Team player who collaborates effectively.
Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Support the healthcare underwriting team with professional liability, general liability, umbrella, and excess coverages.
Assist in underwriting tasks and analysis.
Support projects related to professional, general, and excess liability coverage.
Participate in risk assessment and evaluation.
Work with the underwriting team on policy reviews and renewals.
Contribute to reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
