About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter who understands the fast-paced, compliance-driven nature of staffing clinical professionals. The Recruiter will source, screen, credential, and place qualified Nurses and allied health professionals for permanent placements, per-diem and contract assignments. This role works closely with the Office Administrator and operations team to ensure timely fulfillment of client needs while maintaining exceptional candidate and customer service. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, confident on the phone, and able to thrive in a high-volume healthcare staffing environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare recruiting, healthcare staffing, or clinical interviewing experience.
  • Strong understanding of clinical roles, compliance requirements, and healthcare facility expectations.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-pressure, fast-paced healthcare staffing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High sense of urgency, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient with computers, sourcing tools, and ATS platforms (Particularly Linked in Recruiter).
  • Knowledge of credentialing requirements and facility compliance processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle recruiting for healthcare, allied health, and non-medical support roles, including sourcing, interviewing, credentialing coordination, and placement.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for high-demand specialties.
  • Leverage multiple sourcing strategies—job boards, cold calling, networking, referrals, targeted outreach, and social media—to attract both active and passive healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct thorough phone screens to assess clinical experience, availability, credentials, and assignment preferences.
  • Work with the credentialing team (or follow internal process) to ensure all candidates meet state, facility, and regulatory requirements, including background checks, drug screens, immunizations, and certifications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the ATS.
  • Partner with the Office Administrator and operations team to understand immediate staffing needs and assignment details.
  • Present qualified candidates to leadership promptly and follow through until placement.
  • Assist the scheduling or operations team during high-volume periods as needed.
  • Develop creative recruitment campaigns to increase visibility and attract top healthcare talent.
  • Participate in community outreach, healthcare career fairs, and local events to promote company brand awareness.
  • Provide insights on market trends, candidate availability, and recruitment challenges.
  • Ensure all recruiting practices meet legal, compliance, and industry standards.
  • Maintain excellent communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
