About The Position

All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with VITAS Healthcare Corporation’s policies, procedures, guidelines, contractual commitments, and governmental regulations. The Healthcare Recruiter will manage their own portfolio of position openings for which they source, interview, assess and hire talent in support of business needs. This role engages in activities to attract and evaluate candidates for open positions and future pipeline development, consistently exceeding KPI metrics and delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment cycle. The recruiter will proactively source talent through key VITAS programs, platforms, and tools, ensuring established recruitment processes, policies, and procedures are followed efficiently and effectively. They will identify opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness that improve outcomes, sharing solutions and ideas with leaders. Participation in regularly scheduled meetings with hiring teams to provide updates, insight, and develop targeted sourcing and recruitment strategies is expected, along with generating and sharing reports to monitor progress. Adherence to standardized procedures for all VITAS Recruitment is required to drive focus and improve efficiencies. Attendance at meetings, training activities, courses, and all other work-related activities is required, along with performing any other job-related duties assigned.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a high volume, fast paced, health care recruitment role.
Excellent knowledge of regulatory practices involved in the recruitment function.
Working knowledge of ATS systems (Oracle preferred), Indeed, LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms.
Experience identifying, managing and positively impacting staffing metrics.
Demonstrated ability to achieve goals through influencing, partnering, and developing productive relationships with hiring leaders across the business.
Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
Ability to navigate within automated systems and proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent preferred
SPHR, PHR, or Professional Recruiting Certification preferred.

Attend meetings, training activities, courses and all other work-related activities as required.
Performs any other job-related duties assigned as required.
