About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody values of excellence, compassion, teamwork, and purpose to join their Physician Admin leadership team in the role of Operations Principal. This role collaborates with leaders and teams on the deployment and execution of initiatives and programs that balance the financial, clinical, and quality and safety priorities of the organization for long-term success, such as statewide workforce planning. The Operations Principal provides expertise and consulting to leaders and teams to achieve current and future business objectives and helps the business navigate through times of change. They take the lead or partner with leadership on implementing Medical Group projects and initiatives, working through complex issues and coordinating with key stakeholders. The role also involves seeking new ways to improve individual and team efforts for overall success, promoting collaboration and teamwork, and driving successful outcomes. Additionally, the Operations Principal serves as a liaison for the COO or other key Medical Group senior leaders as needed. This key contributor has a deep understanding of the business and partners with the COO. This is a fully onsite role at Fairbanks Hall, Monday-Friday day shift. Strong preference for candidates with previous healthcare and project/program management experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Requires 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires knowledge or experience in operations, finance, and strategic planning.
  • Requires experience working independently and exhibiting professional judgment and diplomacy in handling unexpected, complex issues.
  • Proven experience in providing advice, counsel and coaching to leaders with the ability to influence and champion effective leadership and change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Experience in a matrixed organization and complex work environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Requires basic proficiency in MS office products.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Previous healthcare experience.
  • Previous project/program management experience.
