About The Position

We are seeking a Full time & Part time 1st, 2nd Shift & 3rd shift Nurse to come join our facility who wants to make a difference in our residents' lives. The nurse in this role will be responsible for providing compassionate, professional nursing care to the residents of Christian Care Retirement Community. As a skilled clinician, they will assess residents' health needs, develop appropriate care plans, administer medications and treatments, and closely monitor residents' conditions. Christian Care Retirement Community is a non-profit, faith-based organization. Requirements

  • RN/LPN license
  • Clear background check
  • Negative drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Assess residents' health needs, develop appropriate care plans, administer medications and treatments, and closely monitor residents' conditions.
  • Review residents' charts and consult with the interdisciplinary care team to determine the most suitable interventions for each resident.
  • Use clinical judgement and critical thinking to analyze health data and identify changes or concerns.
  • Administer residents' medications, treatments and therapies with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the right care is provided at the right time.
  • Make regular rounds, checking in on residents to evaluate their response to care.
  • Keep residents and their families updated about health changes, new physician orders, and adjustments to care plans.
  • Document assessments, interventions and communications thoroughly in accordance with facility policies and nursing best practices.
  • Coordinate closely with nurses, certified nursing assistants, therapists, social workers and other staff to provide coordinated, resident-centered care.
  • Fulfill all other nursing duties required to ensure the wellbeing of residents.
  • Carry out responsibilities with compassion, patience and respect for the residents in their care.
  • Be a reassuring, friendly presence and advocate for the residents' quality of life and comfort.
