About The Position
The Los Angeles, CA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking attorneys to join its Healthcare & Medical Malpractice Practice. Lewis Brisbois represents a wide range of healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings, and handles medical malpractice actions in numerous areas. The firm's healthcare practice is one of the largest in the country with over 200 attorneys. Qualified candidates will be comfortable with various aspects of litigation, possess strong writing and analytical skills, and be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The firm is interested in both experienced healthcare attorneys and talented litigators with a demonstrated interest in healthcare law.
Requirements
- Admitted to practice in California
- At least one (1) to fifteen (15) years of experience representing healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Substantive litigation experience
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare law
Nice To Haves
- Experience defending and litigating medical malpractice lawsuits is preferred
- Excellent skills in any litigation arena
Responsibilities

- Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings
- Drafting and arguing motions
- Taking and defending depositions
