About The Position

Perficient is seeking a Healthcare MDM Architect to join its Data & Analytics team. The role provides best-fit architecture for client projects, defines scope and estimates work, anchors proofs of concept, integrates platforms with third-party services, and designs complex features for business needs. The architect contributes to sales pursuits, thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. The position focuses on Master Data Management solutions and data governance for healthcare providers and payers. The architect leads client engagements and pursuit teams, develops solution architectures and implementation roadmaps, facilitates workshops to assess current environments and requirements, and communicates architectural options to technical and non-technical audiences. The role may involve leading globally distributed teams and representing Perficient at industry forums and conferences. The role is primarily office-based at a local Perficient location, with travel and on-site client engagements as needed. Candidates within commuting distance of the listed metro areas may be considered. Travel is expected to be up to 25%, sometimes more depending on program needs, and may be requested on short notice.

Requirements

At least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
Strong experience in healthcare provider and payer industries architecting MDM solutions and associated data governance processes.
Strong experience with data trends and technologies, including data quality, data catalog, data lineage, master data management, and data governance.
Expertise in data governance concepts, including policies, procedures, operating models, and runbooks.
Expertise in MDM concepts, including match/merge, golden record creation, syndication, stewardship workflows, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Expertise building solutions from scratch and modernizing legacy architectures.
Strong experience with data modeling in healthcare provider and payer industries.
Expertise in at least two MDM tools, including Profisee and Purview; at least four implementation experiences are required.
Ability to communicate complex solutions to technical and non-technical users at various levels, typically from department directors to the C-suite.
Experience with both on-premises and cloud technologies and platforms.
Expertise architecting solutions across disciplines such as performance, scalability, and security.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to create strong presentations using various tools.
Knowledge of emerging AI tools, technologies, and industry trends.
Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, including ethical considerations.
Ability to travel up to 25%, sometimes more depending on program needs and often on short notice.

Responsibilities

Lead client pursuit teams as a Data subject-matter expert, including RFP responses and proactive proposals.
Work with multiple Perficient business units to develop solution architectures that meet or exceed client demands.
Lead complex client engagement delivery, including engagements with ambiguity and limited direction.
Plan and lead client workshops to understand current landscapes, requirements, and constraints, and map them to technology products and platforms to develop future architectures.
Create phased implementation roadmaps considering scope and resources.
Explain complex architectures to technical and non-technical client teams and build consensus among stakeholders.
Learn new technologies and platforms quickly and keep experience relevant to client needs.
Lead teams based in multiple global locations and time zones.
Represent Perficient as an authority on enterprise architecture at industry forums and conferences.
Take ownership of solutions and teams.
Provide architectural solutions for business problems, integrate platforms with third-party services, and design and develop complex client features.
Contribute to thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation.
Participate in sales and other pursuits focused on client business needs.
