About The Position

A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Healthcare Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing healthcare providers, hospitals, health systems, physician groups, and other healthcare industry participants in sophisticated litigation and regulatory disputes.

Requirements

2–6 years of healthcare litigation, commercial litigation, healthcare regulatory, or complex litigation experience
Experience with pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
Ability to independently manage matters while working directly with clients
Excellent academic credentials
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
Georgia bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Nice To Haves

Experience representing hospitals, health systems, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, long-term care facilities, or other healthcare providers preferred
Experience appearing in state and federal courts preferred

Responsibilities

Representing healthcare providers, hospitals, health systems, physician groups, and other healthcare industry participants in sophisticated litigation and regulatory disputes.
Handling healthcare-related disputes involving reimbursement, payor-provider matters, regulatory issues, fraud and abuse allegations, or other complex healthcare litigation matters.
Managing pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
Independently managing matters while working directly with clients.
