About The Position

The Healthcare Linen Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely customer deliveries within set time parameters. The role requires performing job duties in a safe and courteous manner while maintaining an unblemished driving record. Adherence to all company and DOT requirements, including daily documentation, is essential. The driver must also follow all Crothall Laundry Services policies, maintain a neat appearance in uniform, and adhere to the attendance policy. Responsibilities include keeping company equipment clean and organized, promptly reporting any mechanical issues, following universal precautions and procedures on the soil side, maintaining proper DOT documentation and certification, and following all safety procedures. Additionally, the driver must report any problems or issues related to customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and possibly holidays.
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record with a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push/pull a wheeled cart of 700lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload linen carts at both the company’s and customer’s place of business, tagging each one accordingly.
• Completely fill out all required paperwork/logs and turn in daily.
• Weigh all soil under the correct customer and deliver all soil to the soil room.
• Disinfect vehicles after each soil pickup.
• Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and orderly manner.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Turn in a Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Report daily.
• Perform customer deliveries in an accurate and timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
