About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care – Lee & Charlotte County provides high-quality in-home care that helps seniors remain safely and comfortably in their own homes for longer. Services range from occasional companionship a few hours per week to comprehensive, around-the-clock support. Care plans are personalized to meet each client’s needs, promoting dignity, independence, and well-being. The team is committed to reliable, compassionate care and strong relationships with families and community partners. This is a 100% Field-based, high-autonomy career track position. The Business Development Representative will scale premium private-pay home care services across Lee and Charlotte Counties. This role involves face-to-face networking in the community, establishing B2B referral streams with healthcare providers, luxury senior communities, elder law attorneys, trust officers, and local organizations. The representative will be the face of the company, driving growth by educating premium gatekeepers on tailored, compassionate home care solutions.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of successful boots-on-the-ground sales, business development, or medical liaison experience.
  • Exceptional consultative selling skills with the ability to engage professionally with families, doctors, and executive directors.
  • Proven capability to self-manage a local territory, organize daily routing, and prioritize growth opportunities effectively.
  • High school diploma (Business/Marketing degree a plus).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • A passion for supporting local seniors.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in senior living, private duty home care, hospice, or related medical service industries is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Execute consistent, in-person visits to local medical practices, independent living facilities, rehab centers, and professional advisors.
  • Source, nurture, and expand a continuous pipeline of professional private-pay referral networks.
  • Represent the agency at senior networking groups, elder care events, and local professional luncheons to maximize brand visibility.
  • Maintain accurate, simple records of field activities and follow-ups in the CRM tracking system.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the internal office coordination team for a seamless transition when a new client begins care.
