About The Position

A medical facility in Pittsburg, TX is seeking a reliable and experienced Floor Technician to join their team. This position involves performing deep cleaning of floors and carpets, adhering to strict infection prevention protocols, and maintaining floor care machines. The shift is from 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend required.

Requirements

• Must have at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in floor care preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move heavy floor care equipments.
• Knowledge of floor care chemicals and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, stripping, sealing, waxing, buffing, and high-speed burnishing of hard floors.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and extract water from carpeted areas.
• Adheres to strict infection prevention protocols using the proper PPE.
• Clean and maintain floor care machines.
