Performs compliance and regulatory work within the Division of Public Health Licensing Services, Bureau of Licensing for Professions & Occupations. Assists with or independently determines the issuance of licenses for regulated individuals, facilities, and providers, and ensures continued compliance with applicable statutes, rules, policies, and procedures for license compliance. Conducts initial, renewal, complaint, and follow-up inspections, as well as administrative reviews of complaint investigations, to evaluate compliance with applicable statutes and rules. Reviews quality systems by tracking documentation, corrective actions, and other quality assurance data. Conducts investigations of licensed individuals and facilities in response to complaints alleging noncompliance or violations of applicable statutes and rules. Provides regulatory oversight of licensed services requiring Department regulation by corresponding with licensees, applicants, regulated entities, and other regulatory agencies; responding to technical and regulatory inquiries; assisting in the development and implementation of standards; participating in rulemaking activities; and conducting compliance inspections. Prepares, reviews, or assists with detailed investigative and inspection reports, Statements of Deficiency, Plans of Correction, compliance correspondence, and other regulatory or legal documents related to licensure actions, enforcement activities, and changes to a licensee's status.
