Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• No prior healthcare experience required—we’ll train you!

• Background check and drug screen required
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills required

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and guide them through their visit
• Record vital signs and health information
• Assist with screenings, exams, and patient preparation
• Support providers as a chaperone and communication liaison
• Perform CLIA-waived lab tests, collect specimens, and maintain logs
• Keep exam rooms stocked, clean, and ready for care
• Document all patient encounters in the electronic medical record
• Help schedule follow-up appointments and support smooth clinic flow
• Greet and register patients
• Verify insurance, demographic, and financial information
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide general information
• Maintain charts, records, logs, and files
• Process fees and follow basic billing procedures
• Monitor supplies and assist with inventory
