About The Position

Role: Care Assistant Location: Leicester Hours: Waking night shifts 10pm - 8am, full and part time options available Payrate: £13.50 per hour Care That Makes Life Possible You’ll care for a child in Leicester, working waking night shifts from 10pm - 8am to provide safe and consistent care in their own home. They live with neurodevelopmental Disorder (SLD), Atrial Septal Defect (ASD), Learning Disability, ADHD & Hyper Mobile Joints. Beyond their clinical needs, they enjoy living healthy lifestyle, swimming, walking, have a creative nature. Their interests are in arts and crafts and gardening and you’ll help them enjoy the things that matter most to them safely. With nurse-led oversight, individualised clinical training and the wider Komplex Group behind you, you’ll provide the standard of care you’d want for your own family. Komplex Care provides nurse-led care at home for adults and children with lifelong, complex clinical needs. Our teams support individuals requiring interventions such as ventilation, tracheostomy care, suctioning, gastrostomy support and neurological care. Every package includes individualised training, consistent care teams and ongoing nurse-led clinical oversight. Make every working day mean something. Requirements

  • Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training
  • Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
  • The ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently
  • Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping
  • A genuine commitment to safe, person-centred care
  • Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care, medication and clinical interventions
  • Managing oxygen, ventilation and specialist equipment
  • Monitoring clinical observations and recognising deterioration
  • Maintaining accurate records and escalating concerns immediately
