About The Position

This Application Analyst will support one or more high-availability healthcare applications used in the periprocedural and inpatient spaces in a complex healthcare setting. This role requires being part of a 24/7/365 on-call rotation and the ability to effectively diagnose incidents and then execute steps to correct, manage or redirect those incidents quickly and correctly. The analyst must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must have the ability to organize, facilitate and drive meetings with other IT teams, vendors and often clinical side participants. The analyst will also be responsible for the technical aspects of implementing, maintaining, supporting and decommissioning applications. This position demands high productivity, proactivity and professionalism as well as the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment. This is a hybrid position which should expect about 70% work-from-home and 30% on-site, but this can vary depending on product needs. Requirements

  • Experience with Windows OS & Office365 tools, Atlassian tools, Windows Server Administration, application support (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SQL querying, HL7 proficiency, Mirth Engine, General understanding of network architecture. (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Designs, builds, installs, configures, and/or develops software to support clinical and operational workflows.
  • Analyzes clinical or operational workflows supported by the assigned products and their relationship to the technical environment in which they operate.
  • May perform analysis and design of supporting technical infrastructures.
  • Supports clinical or operational implementations for assigned products which may also include testing and QA, reporting, product life cycle, communication/collaboration with customers and vendors, and training users.
