About The Position

CTG is seeking an experienced Healthcare API & Integration Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise healthcare integration solutions supporting member, employer, broker, and provider platforms. This role requires deep expertise in healthcare interoperability, FHIR APIs, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and AWS cloud technologies. This is a remote position with a duration of 11 months.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Architect and design healthcare integration solutions supporting member, employer, broker, and provider ecosystems.
  • Lead modernization initiatives, transforming monolithic applications into scalable microservices-based platforms.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs, FHIR-compliant interfaces, and enterprise integration services.
  • Develop event-driven architectures utilizing Kafka, RabbitMQ, and asynchronous messaging frameworks.
  • Define API governance standards, lifecycle management processes, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
  • Design highly available, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions on AWS.
  • Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to deliver scalable healthcare technology solutions.
  • Establish architecture standards focused on performance, security, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps best practices across development teams.
