About The Position

Cumberland Christian School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Administrator to join our team in Vineland, New Jersey, United States. This is a Full-Time position central to maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of our student body. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for managing the school's health services and promoting a healthy school environment. Requirements

  • A relevant qualification in nursing (e.g., Registered Nurse), healthcare administration, or a closely related field is required.
  • Proven experience in a healthcare administrative role, preferably within a school or paediatric setting.
  • Current certification in First Aid and CPR is essential.
  • Exceptional organisational, administrative, and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact with children, parents, and staff in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • A thorough understanding of health regulations and privacy laws.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate and confidential student health records in compliance with all regulations.
  • Administer first aid, emergency care, and prescribed medications to students and staff as required.
  • Develop, implement, and uphold school health policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians regarding student health issues, providing timely and clear communication.
  • Oversee the school's health office, including managing the inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure the school's compliance with local and state health and immunisation requirements.
  • Collaborate with school staff and public health officials to manage and report communicable diseases.
  • Organise and conduct health screenings, such as vision and hearing tests, for students.
