About The Position

GENERAL SUMMARY: This position is a summer internship that offers exposure to pediatric healthcare operations, patient services, and administrative functions. Internships will run from June 1 to July 31, 2026. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Support special projects (research, data entry, communications). Shadow healthcare professionals to understand pediatric care delivery. Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements. Provide excellent customer service to patients and families. Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values. ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Current college student, recent graduate, or high school senior 18+
  • Interest in healthcare, pediatrics, or related fields
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office/Google Workspace)
  • Successful background check and 3 professional references
  • Strong verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, patient-focused, and professional demeanor
  • Quick learner with the ability to follow procedures and adapt to new systems
  • Basic computer skills; EHR experience a plus
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
  • Problem-solver and team player
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, people-centered environment
