About The Position

ELLKAY is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to acquire new healthcare customers and expand our market presence. This role owns the full sales cycle, from targeted prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close. The ideal candidate understands healthcare organizations, builds credibility with executive stakeholders, and translates complex business needs into clear value.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience, preferably selling healthcare technology, data, software, or services.
  • Demonstrated success acquiring new enterprise or mid-market customers and consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with executive-level engagement.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare organizations, industry priorities, and regulatory considerations.
  • Strong prospecting, discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM practices.
  • Ability to travel as required to support customer meetings and industry events.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling to health systems, hospitals, physician groups, post-acute organizations, payers, life sciences companies, or other healthcare entities.
  • Established relationships within the healthcare market.
  • Familiarity with interoperability, clinical workflows, healthcare data, revenue cycle, patient engagement, or related technology solutions.
  • Experience working in a high-growth or evolving organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory plan focused on acquiring new healthcare logos and achieving annual bookings targets.
  • Build qualified pipeline through targeted outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, referrals, and collaboration with marketing and business development.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution alignment, demonstrations, business cases, proposals, negotiations, and close.
  • Engage executive, clinical, technical, operational, and financial stakeholders across healthcare organizations.
  • Navigate procurement, security, legal, compliance, and vendor review processes common to healthcare sales.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, activity, and forecast data in the CRM.
  • Partner with solution consultants, marketing, customer success, product, and leadership throughout the sales process.
  • Share market trends, buyer feedback, and competitive insights with internal teams
