Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We use student-focused programs to help young adults build the skills, confidence, and experience needed for successful careers. As our Health & Wellness Manager, you'll play a vital leadership role in supporting student well-being and success.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unrestricted New York State license required
Associate's degree in Nursing required
Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience required, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, case management, and healthcare operations
Regional approval required

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the Wellness Services Department, including nursing and contracted medical, dental, and mental health services
Ensure students receive high-quality preventative, emergency, and wellness care
Manage department staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and daily operations
Coordinate with hospitals, healthcare providers, and community agencies
Oversee chronic care management, medication administration, and medical records
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, DOL, and company policies
Manage wellness programs, health initiatives, and HEALs Committee participation
Support student success through referrals, case management, and health education
Mentor staff while fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and compassion
