Health Unit Coordinator - 8W Stem Cell Transplant Unit
About The Position
The Stem Cell Transplant Unit at UVA Health is an inpatient unit at the main hospital and a 15-room intermediate care unit specializing in Cellular Therapy. Registered Nurses will provide expert care to patients undergoing complex cellular therapy, stem cell transplantation, and recovery. This specialized unit focuses on delivering cutting-edge treatments and compassionate support to individuals with hematologic malignancies and other conditions requiring cellular therapy. Under the direction of the manager or designee supports the functions of the unit/area by performing receptionist and clerical duties.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.

Responsibilities
- Maintains the medical record in good form.
- Communicates effectively using established systems/protocols.
- Communicates effectively with ancillary departments.
- Maintains unit supplies/forms appropriately.
- Assumes responsibility for professional development of self and contributes to and assists with the professional development of others.
