About The Position
Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Health Unit Coordinator provides direct, personal care and services to patients in the facility which meets their physical, intellectual, social and spiritual needs on a daily basis; additionally, duties will include various clerical and reception responsibilities at the nursing station and surrounding environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Completion and maintenance of certification and training requirements as established by the Minnesota Department of Health for registered nursing assistants required.
- BLS certified or must be obtained within 1 week of hire.
- Certification of NRP Essentials required or must be obtained within one year of hire.
Responsibilities
