Banner Desert Medical Center is seeking a new Health Unit Coordinator. This position is responsible for a variety of administrative support functions and customer service for an assigned patient care area which promote an organized, efficient delivery of care to patients. The position facilitates communication between physicians, nurses and patients, calls in consults and acts as a liaison with all other internal departments and external contacts. This is for a Full Time Day and Night Shift opening, 3x12 hour shifts per week: 6:00am-6:00pm or 6pm-6am. Rotating weekends and holidays are required in this role. You will also enjoy a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential as well as an 18% Night Shift differential where applicable!
